Tesco Wine
I was lucky enough to be chosen by wine design experts Amphora to head up a team of two freelance designers to take on a huge project designing 20 + bottles of wine for Tesco. The retail giant had aquired some new vineyards around the world but wanted to market their new wine without the Tesco brand. This meant positioning the different wines as if they were either well established ‘old world’ wine makers or exciting ‘new world’ brands, not supermarket wine. This led us into the fascinating world of wine design, it’s heritage and the latest trends. Some fantastic designs came out of this project, some of which are still on shelf 10 years later, this was definitely a career highlight for me.
