Apex Brewing Co
The first project that I started working on at Episode Two, Apex Brewing Co, already had it’s new branding developed before I started. However I got involved at a really exciting time as we started to roll out the brand and I was entrusted to design the rest of the beer range, brand an entire festival range and create everything from beer mats, to social media campaigns. The Apex Brewing Co’s auto theme is cheeky, funny, and lives it’s brand ethos ‘ Serious beer, not for the serious’. I had so much fun creating illustrations, tongue in cheek copy and slogans, and even more fun when Apex became the sponsers of a local Pride festival where I got to strategise the consumer journey from the entrance of the festival to the beer tent and everything in between. Strap lines like ‘Take Pride in your Pint’ and ‘Fueling the fun’ helped continue the brand story around the festival but with a Pride theme. I became the design lead in this project and one I took great pride in.
